Only hours later, Plunkett was executed for his role in the Easter Rising.<\/p><p>The Grace 1916 design captures that extraordinary story through a delicate but powerful piece of original artwork.<\/p><p>An ivory rose is washed with deep crimson, drawing inspiration from Plunkett's poetry and the imagery forever associated with Grace's story. Hidden among the leaves is a simple wedding ring, representing the ring Grace bought before their wedding inside Kilmainham.<\/p><p>The flowing Grace lettering and understated 1916 detail give the artwork an elegant, vintage character while allowing the story itself to remain at the centre.<\/p><p>Beautiful from a distance.
